And its finally here after lying around for over a year, abandoned on my harddrive, thanks to Frost drawing a very well fitting cover. For the ones of you who have no idea, C’etait mieux en RDA (Det var bättre i DDR) was a full lengt CD and the first Data Airlines release back in 2007, 1 hour of gameboy music made in LSDj and mixed with two gameboy DMGs. The physical copy was soldout through Rolemodels label Rebel Pet Set in a few days (._.) but is still avalible on Beatport/Itunes etc. Directly after the success (?) of the first volume, I decided to record some of my then recently made gameboymaterial into a second volume wich I did in the Data Airlines studios in november 2008, then something caught my attention and I forgot about it. I recently found it, looking at me with bambieeyes from a temp-folder, and oldschool amigahero Frost kindly made me this test drive USSR cover-art. (Thankyou!). Exept for that, the difference since the first volume is that all the material has been played over and over and over by me on numerous live-concerts since mars 2008, so you will probably recognise alot of material, and that its alot of remixes included. Anyway, here is the playlist:
– Siskid – Butter Knife (Dubmood Remix)
– Siskid – Hummer (Dubmood Remix)
– Dubmood – Longchampssessions #1
– Dubmood – ChateauDouble
– Dubmood – TEE Dusseldorf
– Dubmood vs Facteur – Nice to Stansted (Dubmood Gameboy edit)
– Trick & Kubic – Orbital Dance Machine (Dubmood Gameboy Remix)
– Kompis – tog fram en fet skiva och körde den hårt eller nått (Dubmood Remix)
– Dubmood – Sector 2A (2008 edit)
– Dubmood – Traverse de RN85 (gameboy edit)
