After more than 18 months of delays we finally managed to pull this one out. Confipops second gameboy EP on Data Airlines. Confipop hails from Avignon with origins in the south-french freeparty and spiraltribe-movement and is one of the founding members of the Marseille Micro-HQ. His gameboy work is somwhat of a clash between organic techno and contemporary music interpretaded through his circuitbent children toys and this release is no exception from his style.

I’m doing a residence + concert the 4 to 9 February at la Gare, Coustellet, organised by Collectif Freesson (Same as I wrote a blog about last year when goto80 was doing it). Together with me I’ll bring Acet1 (Razor1911) and the other artists are Gangpol unt mit, Sidabitball and confipop. I will post a followup soon when I got more juicy info.

Thankyou Norway and Sweden for a great week. Started out with a pretty calm gig in Oslo (photos on www.microdisko.no). On the way back we got harassed by the police and almost hit an elk while speeding on the highway in the middle of the night but managed to get our asses to Falun for a pretty crazy gig wich Mindsikk / Fyllecell had to end at the hospital for obscene drunkness in combination with rolling around in broken glassbottles wich was the result of the hazadous STU (dropdabomb) baseprogramation! uhm. yeh! Great concert!
Then, we hit Stockholm. Ah bon. It was superb! Video and Video! Thanks for a great gig! But Göteborg topped it! Really, home sweet home! Now i’m back in the Marseille sun so stay tuned for the Data Airlines festival, and if you cant wait and have chip-abstinence you can see me play in Nice tomorrow, Daki Ling in Noailles on Saturday and Fiesta des suds on Sunday. Props to all organisers! Aioli pour psilodump, stu, confipop and nervous testpilot. And thanks boltes for that im still alive and not smashed between a saab and a moose in norway. It was close!

Doing Double Radioemissions with Micro:HQ Marseille

Every Second Saturday, we at the Micro:HQ Marseille broadcast a one hour radioshow with and about the micromusic scene on Radio Galere 88.4 at 2pm. We recorded the last emission for you to download.
